Saral PayPack - Version 2.10 Release Notes

Version 2.02 of Saral PayPack software has been released on 10^th October 2006. The release notes are provided here for the reference.

1. Component based PT incorporated- PT calculations will happen only on selected heads instead of on gross salary, however this is optional.
2. Periodic Incentive-Option available to consider periodic Incentive amount for PT calculation.
3. Monthly Salary Rate/Editor-changes:
   • Recalculate- Calculates salary for selected Employee.
   • Recalculate Many - Calculates salary for selected list of employees.
   • Summary On Total- Summary Screen, which Shows summary of all earning and deduction heads with Gross Salary, Gross deduction and Net salary.
   • EMI Update - Warning message display provided when recoverable exceeds actual recoverable/Advance Amount.
4. Quick search included in Monthly Salary Rate screen.
5. Option Settings- Changes:
   • Start Month Field moved to General Options section.
   • Current Month set in advanced section is showed in task bar.
   • Leave Allotment not allowed before configuring Start Month.
   • Advanced section information is grouped for better user understanding.
   • Option provided to configure Component Based PT calculation in Features section
6. Reporting-Changes:
   • Any customized pay slip is there for that customer; customized pay slip can be shown in place of default pay slip. (With Default’s file).
   • Bank Statement Report- Bank statement can be generated in defined formats for SBI, ICICI/Standard chartered and HDFC Bank.
7. Employee Master-Changes:
   1. “PF No.” and “PF No. For dept file” made optional.
   2. Filtering options given for filtering left, current employees.
   3. ESI dispensary made optional.
8. Attendance/Leave Module-Changes:
   1. Filtering Option made available.
   2. Quick search feature provided in Attendance Detail, and Attendance Monthly Screens.
   3. Coloring provided for Non-Approved leave in Leave register screen
9. Standing Instructions- Changes:
   1. Warning Message display on updating/inserting new EMI records, if Recoverable exceeds more than actual paid.
   2. Interest calculator incorporated in Advance/Loan screens for easier navigation to Interest calculation.
10. Company Master-Changes;
• Option provided for company website and email id entry.
11. New Registration incorporated
• This calls for registration once again, in those computers where it is registered via Soft Key
12. Location based PT incorporated for Maharashtra, West Bengal and Karnataka states.
