Saral PayPack - Version 2.10 Release Notes

Version 2.10 of Saral PayPack software has been released on 10^th October 2006. The release notes are provided here for the reference.

1. Supports MYSQL database.
2. Supports back end database connection via DSN.
3. Monthly Salary Rate.
• Selected employee name is highlighted.
4. Monthly Salary Editor.
   • Selected employee name is highlighted.
   • Gross total is shown after all earning heads and also before the total deduction in Calculation section
   • On Ordering the data in the Grid by clicking on the column header both Entry and Calculation section details are ordered similarly. Same Ordering will be applied until the screen is not closed.
   • Salary Calculation message will include Cancel option, which if selected opens Salary Editor screen for Entry purpose only.
5. Attendance Detail and Attendance Monthly screens.
   • Included a pop up for clearing all or selected attendance details.
   • Can be accessed by right clicking on the grid.
   • Selecting any one of the options will, after confirmation, delete the attendance details and refresh the grid.
   • On refreshing the default values will be shown
6. Attendance Detail screen.
   • Displays NOD and NDP for the Attendance Details entered.
   • Not displaying the entered details of any employee if DOL is given after monthly data is saved.
7. Employee Master-Changes:
• Left employees are highlighted using a colored strip (around Date and reason of leaving).
8. Salary structure definition
• "Create new from existing" feature provided [which creates a new salary structure similar to the old one including the heads assigned to it.]
9. Report on Advance Bank details provided.
10. Salary sheet.
    • Group by and order by on the basis of any of the employee classification detail such as Department/branch/location etc. with subtotal and total with option for page break for each group by.
    • 2 levels of grouping is provided (i.e. With in Location (Level1) Branch (level2) grouping provided) with respective group subtotal and total.
    • Optionally printing of Mode of payment provided.
    • User can opt to print the Standing Instructions. In addition to this the user can also opt to show the Installment no.
    • Optionally PF/ESI No can also be shown
11. Pay slip
    • Order by on the basis of any of the employee classification detail such as Department/branch/location etc.
    • Optionally printing of Mode of payment provided.
12. PF Report – PF No. wise ordering of data included.
