New features included
- In Tools Menu - TDS Declaration Form, Export Journal voucher, Query builder (works with only Access and SQL back end), Predating of salary heads assigned to salary structure.
- In Attendance Menu - Leave Allotment (Others) – Monthly/ Calendar Year wise/ Financial Year wise.
Salary Calculation

Speed increased by 50% (For e.g. salary processing took earlier 30min – Which now takes only 15min).

Other changes
- Editing of Classification caption provided.
- Bulk changing of all classification details given.
- Following terminology’s /caption changed.
- NWD -> Salary Calendar Days.
  NOD -> Pay Days.
  NDP -> Present Days.
  In Assign Heads to Salary structure – ‘Calc Basis’. 'PerDay NOD' -> 'Pay Days - Daily basis'. 'PerDay ND' -> 'Present Days - Daily basis'.
- Full and Final Settlement - In Checklist – ‘Served for’ is enhanced to show Years/Months/Days. After creating FFS - Message is shown stating created successfully.
- Remarks Field added in Salary Structure Definition, Assign Heads to Salary Structure.
- Over time entry - Filter option provided.
- Allotment type added (with options Between dates/ Monthly/ Calendar Year / Financial Year) and ‘NOD For calculation’ caption changed to “Salary Calendar days” in Attendance Settings.
- Company settings Menu moved to initial settings Menu.
- Attendance management menu moved to Main menu (Next to Pre-salary transaction) and its renamed as Renamed as Attendance.
- Leave Eligibility renamed as Leave Allotment.
- Salary Export - Designation and department is shown in addition to name.
- Import/Export - While Importing Employee Master from Excel , all Classification details like Designation, grade, occupation, division will be automatically imported to Master (with a display of message).
Attendance & Leave
- New Allotment screen is designed to allot leaves for monthly, calendar year and financial year Allotment Type.
- New Summary screen for leave Allotment is developed where all the allotments of all employees’ are shown with filter and search by options.
- ‘Non Leave’ as been Renamed as “On Duty”.
- Opening Balance screen is redesigned and column wise allotment is provided which is user friendly Quick Search Feature is given in Attendance Daily and Attendance Monthly.
- In Leave Encashment screen a formula editor is shown for calculating Leave Encashment Rate.
- Allotted details for employees are not shown in the leave allotment screen which was there earlier, only the selected employee details will be shown.
- Over write option is provided in Multi Allotment.
- If the allotted leave (like PL,CL,SL) exceeds the leave taken in leave register a warning message will be shown.
Standing Instructions
- On change/delete of any EMI entries, Rest of the EMI's will get adjusted to the balance amount with options prompt.
- Option provided for marking EMI as “Recovered”, in advance/loan section.
- Once the EMI is deducted Advance/Loan etc. is frozen (changing the values will not be possible).
Arrears

Arrears calculation based on Theoretical Salary values enabled (This is provided under Automated Option of Arrears Definition).

TDS Related Changes
- In rent paid details screen, Rent can be copied to future months from a selected month of the employees with 'Monthly Rent' entry option.
- Additional reports which can be generated in Saral TDS Institutional are Salary extract report- In the institutional format.
- TDS Declaration form (word report) - With data/Blank form.
- TDS Details report along with statement of total income.
