Saral PayPack - Version 2.40 Release Notes

Version 2.40 of Saral PayPack software has been released on 20^th February 2007. The release notes are provided here for the reference.

1. Calculated values in expression editor.
2. Giving a name to expressions.
3. Feature to assist user to identify ESI applicability.
4. Leave encashment rate will be automatically derived from the assign salary heads to salary structure. Whatever per day salary rate is set will come in Rate for all employees.
5. In Salary Sheet, DOS Report the summary details of Net amount, Total Earning and Total Deduction will be shown.
6. In PF and the ESI reports, the PF and ESI group will be made optional (Only Monthly Reports).
7. PF Voluntary will be shown in separate column in the Monthly PF report.
8. In Employee master, PF/PT applicability can be set with different effective dates.

11. Suitable caption will be given for Tight integration/Loose integration in Attendance Setting.
12. In filter, selected employees will be highlighted.  In the grid, columns till the employee name will be freezed.
13. In Advanced Filter, on display of the screen, no employee listing will be shown.  Click on View button to view employees.  (Modification being done to avoid delayed loading of Advanced Filter when employees are huge in number).
14. Journal Voucher Export on Branchwise, Departmentwise and Structurewise.
15. Warning will be shown in Bonus if an employee has not attended for 60 days. Controlled through option setting.
16. Warning will be shown when an employee is not entitled for leave on account of not completing 240 days or two thirds of the calendar year.  Controlled through option setting.
17. If leave is not alloted, then option to consider leave as LOP will be provided.  Controlled through option setting.
18. In Salary Sheet and Pay Slip, mid of month concept will be handled.
19. All classification details will be shown in Salary slip by an option.
20. Salary Rate details will be shown in Salary Sheet with option.
21. Second Level of Grouping in Flat Salary Sheet.
22. In salary sheet, if the payable salary is zero (i.e. total earning = total deduction) those employees records will be shown with option.
23. Payment mode filter option will be provided in Advanced Filter.
24. Advanced Filter will keep track of the selected employee's (will be saved in the query).

55. In Assign Heads to Salary Structure, Exemption limit can be set for Others and Other Allowances.

58. In Gratuity, Number of Years worked will be rounded to nearest year.
59. In Salary Editor, salary is not recalculating after changing formula which contains leaves in expression.
60. For an employee, classification is changed other than salary structure.  Salary Rate details are entered for this classification.  Then Salary Structure is changed.  This resulted in the previous salary rate details not being cleared.
61. In Import/Export Monthly Attendance Details Importing, NOD and NDP calculation is having a issue.
62. Leave Travel Allowance and Medical Reimbursement screen standardization and basic validations.
63. Difference in amount of Salary Abstract
64. Bank Statements in some options give message no records found.
65. For the attendance head named "KALPA ELECTRIKAL", there are weekly and also holidays defined for the month of November. But, in attendance monthly the NDP is not reducing. It still shows 30 as NDP.
66. For emp no 92 (AKHILA B.S.). Here, the Date of Leaving is 15/11/2006, but in the salary editor it is showing the calculation for the entire month.
67. For Advance and Loan reports on Detailed and Summary, the Total figures are mismatched.
