Saral PayPack - Version 2.47 Release Notes

Version 2.47 of Saral PayPack software has been released on 08^th June 2007. The release notes are provided here for the reference.

1. Medical Reimbursement screen layout modified.
2. LTA screen layout modified.
3. Salary Export feature enhanced.
4. Leave Allotment (Others), Carry Over flag setting provided in main screen.  Separate screen for Carry Over setting removed.
5. In Option Setting, New options provided
   • Allow Negative Entry in Salary
   • Allow PF Employer Contribution to be Restricted at Employee Level:  With this option, user can set at  employee level how employer contribution is to be treated.  When this is set, a menu item is available in Masters, Employee – PF Employer Restriction.
   • Show PF Earnings of Employer Contribution in Monthly PF Report: This will display the PF earnings w.r.t. employer and Account No. 2 is calculated on the total of this PF earnings.  Same is reflected in Form 12A, PF Challan, Excel PF, PF Summary reports.
6. All PF/ ESI reports now available in RPX format.
7. Bank Statement reports.  With reimbursement and Without Reimbursement information.  To set Reimbursement heads, use Tools -> Mark Salary Head as Reimbursement feature.
8. New report for Leave Details, Leave Abstract provided.
9. Three new Bank Formats for Punjab National Bank, Bank of Baroda and Centurion Bank introduced.
10. Bonus/Ex-Gratia interface enhanced with option to enter TDS amount.
11. Arrears Interface modified.  Now Definition of Arrears will be through a Wizard interface.
12. In Arrears – Automated, new option given to give arrears for portion of the arrear month based on number of days.
13. Deduction Preference feature introduced for Advance and Loan.  Available in Salary Editor -> Calculation Tab on Right Click.
14. Porting of Negative Salary of previous month to current month.  Available in Salary Editor -> Calculation Tab on Right Click.
15. In Expression Editor, Date related variables and functions added.
16. EMI readjustment of Advance and Loans improved.
17. Bug fixes in Arrears relating to Statutory settings.
18. Bring Estimated TDS logic updated to resolve the issue of evaluating TDS for employees not coming in any Tax slab.
19. When multiple month arrears are given, then TDS porting was considering only one month value for tax computation.
20. Form 12A absent details improved.
21. Percentage based PF voluntary round off taken care.
22. OT units updating in Attendance Monthly interface addressed.
23. Salary Rate and Salary Details importing was importing the data to wrong month has been rectified.
