Hello all, In this post, we will see the process of Merging Form 16, that is Part A, Part B, Form 12BA and TDS summary into a single file in Saral PayPack.
Before merging, make sure all the required files i.e. Part A and Part B of Form 16 are generated. The process of generating Part A and Part B of Form 16 is explained in the below link :
Next, we have to merge all these files into a single file. Go to Form 16 with TRACES under TDS Reports of Report menu.
In the Form 16 window, enable Form 12BA and TDS Deducted Summary if the same has to be added to the merged FORM 16.
Form 12BA is Statement of Perquisites and TDS Deducted Summary is the summary on tax payable and tax deducted.
Select the employees for whom the merged Form 16 has to be generated as well as enter the place and date. Now, click on Merge Part-A & Part-B.
The Merge Form 16 window will be displayed. Here, trace the path of PART A and PART B TRACES files converted to PDF in the earlier process, respectively.
Additional information i.e Section 2f and 10k details will be auto fetched and the details are traced at the Additional folder. The path of merged files is auto-taken which can be changed if required.
If Form 16 has to be digitally signed then enable Digital Sign using Saral Sign and if the digital signature has to be made the signature location of each page, then enable Sign at all Signature positions.
- Saral Sign has to be installed separately and it is not in-built in Saral PayPack. Also, the signature settings in Saral Sign have to be done before proceeding with this option.
- If PART A and PART B are digitally signed during its generation, then this option may not be required.
After all the settings, click on Merge to merge the files into a single file.
Finally, this completes the process of Merging of Part A, Part B, Form 12BA and TDS summary into a single file in Saral PayPack.
